Safety
There are strict rules and guidelines in Fencing as well a variety of moves and skills that all contribute to the excitement, grace and safety of the sport.
All weapon are made so they are flexible with no sharp edges or points. Protective jackets, plastrons, gloves and helmets are provided for beginners and are a compulsory safety aspect of the sport.
It is also important to wear a t-shirt, loose fitting track pants and suitable trainers.
